Claire is here...

hello everyone.

Well it has been quite a day, week, and year.  On Tuesday morning we received a phone call from a young lady in Kentucky that we had been in contact with who was expecting a baby September 1st.  She had committed to giving her baby up for adoption to us so we had been waiting for the call.  We bought plane tickets, packed bags and headed to the airport when she called Tuesday.  By the time we had departed for our flight, she had already given birth to our little girl!  We arrived in Lexington at 4:30pm and drove to the hospital.  When we arrived they brought her in to see us and gave us our own room.  For the last two days we have fed, changed, and cleaned her.  She is beautiful and we are so full of joy.

She has blue eyes and brownish blonde hair.
