It's hard to believe it was a year ago when we first met Claire. It seems like yesterday we were rushing off to the airport trying to get there before she came into this world. But she arrived just like she does everything else, quickly and without hesitation. We got there soon after and have been in love ever since. It seems only minutes ago I was holding her in my arms for the first time, not being able to comprehend the unbelievable gift God had just given us. I remember thinking how immediate my love was and how overwhelming my sense of protection was for this tiny, perfect little person. She is our daily reminder of God's grace and love. Our prayer is that we continue to love and nurture her and to raise her to know, love, and serve the Lord.
